Programs
The theme running through all our programs is simple:
Supporting at-risk communities using tools and opportunities typically withheld from marginalized communities requires a high-speed course correction.
This means getting information, training and funding directly into these communities as quickly as possible.
It will require providing support in new ways, and an understanding that the leadership for our programs will come from the communities we serve.
boundless is focusing on the following areas as we develop our first wave of activities:
Community
Provide education, mentoring and training to empower individuals and organizations in marginalized communities to imagine, develop and implement alternative approaches to addressing systematic social and economic problems in their communities.
Establish and support collaborative, community-driven, intergenerational advocacy and activist activities designed to a) illustrate how and why traditional human services programs are not producing authentic social and economic change, and b) create new, more radical and divergent training and services that target the root causes of inequity.
Utilize the process of mobilizing and educating community members as a means of creating innovative and unconventional practices to fostering social change.
Nonprofit Services
Provide services and consultations to support nonprofits and individuals with an emphasis on educating and assisting new “start-up” programs that aim to support social change in marginalized communities.
Assist with program development and the strategic creation of new collaborations to support both new and already active nonprofits, with a focus on assisting activities in human services and artistic programs in underserved communities.
Enable nonprofits of all sizes to access new funding via foundation, corporate and individual support.
Create and manage opportunities for artists working in a wide range of mediums to create and share new work.
Generate new opportunities for individuals and organizations from a diverse range of backgrounds to collaborate on projects that use green technology and environmental practices to establish activities and training programs, with a special focus on mixing arts with technology.
Arts & Culture
Provide education, mentoring and training to empower youth in underserved communities to pursue their interests in a variety of media and disciplines, including, music composition and performance, video and audio production, and digital marketing.
Develop and support new collaborations between youth and established artists, producers, and other content creators to conceive and develop new works and initiatives, with an emphasis on activities that support social change in underserved communities.
Provide access to professional networks and on-going support to participants to connect them with internship and employment opportunities.
